Hello, the title should say it all. I just upgraded to Jaws 8 and am looking for something that is very accessible but that does the job to. if I have to buy something I will that is not a problem. All suggestions welcome.

I use Ad-Aware. You'll have to download the scripts for JAWS, but it's easy to use.

Really? That's strange, because I use JAWS eight, too, and it works just fine.

Quick question. Are your scripts an upgraded version?

try spyware doctor from pc tools.

www.pctools.com
you need to use the jaws curser to access it, but it's very good software.

ok, hear we go.
as mentioned ad aware is good with the scripts. spybot search and destroy is good with scripts, there is a program called xsoft spy that needs a little jaws curssor work but is extremely powerful1 and there is pest patrol which costs some money too. the last two programs cost some money. please contact me privately if you want any of the setups for the programs above

I don't like AdAware. I'm sure it's a good program, but I've never had much luck with the scripts, either. I use Webroot SpySweeper. It's a good program, and JAWS accessible.

Spybot's also very JAWS-friendly, but you'll also need to download the scripts for that.

Avast people. No scripts needed, free and has all the protection you'll need. The pro version is $39 for a year, but only adds some flexability as to when you run scans and such things. www.avast.com or read about it at www.cnet.com Now also if you decide to download it and select schedule a boot scan, be aware your computer will not speak on boot up tell the scan has finished, so don't worry or try to rush it the speech will resume after the scan completes.

I reccomend a program called hit man pro
It's a free program that bundles several different spiware programs and sets them to maximum sensitivity.
I've used it for several months and found it to be vary affective.
